Animals in the Pegasus Galaxy?

I've recently rewatched the series, but not with this in mind, so I could have missed a lot. But not counting the whales (who aren't animals anyway) how many species of animals have we seen or heard of in the Pegasus Galaxy? I remember hearing of fish, venomous snakes, and a flying/leaping monkey-like creature, and I saw people eating what looked like local chicken -- but that's it. No sight or mention of cats, dogs, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, or any specific wild animals. Ronon learned to hunt as a child, but no idea what he hunted.

Does anybody remember any more?

Dinosaurs! There's talk of dinosaurs in an early episode. I don't remember, Bates is after Teyla for summoning the Wraith and blames her when the team comes back early from a planet, and Sheppard or Ford says it wasn't Wraith, it was something dinosaurish. Something like that.

I vaguely remember seeing goats and/or dogs in some market-ish scenes, but I might also be confusing with SG1 there.

In "Missing" there's a small subterranean animal that Teyla catches for food and that Jennifer thinks is disgusting.
